Pharmacon Remedies Group was set up in the early 1970’s in the name of Pharma Remedies and later in 1982 as Pharmacon Remedies (Bom) Pvt.Ltd. at Mumbai.

Company Background

Pharmacon Remedies Group was set up in the early ‘70s in the name of Pharma Remedies and later in 1982 as Pharmacon Remedies (Bom) Pvt.Ltd. at Mumbai. The company was promoted by Mr.P.P.Sukumar, who belongs to a family that has been practicing Ayurveda for the past several generations. His brother Dr. P. P. Prabhakaran, an Ayurvedic practitioner has vast experience and technical expertise in both modern medicines as well as Ayurveda in the manufacture of Ethical, OTC Ayurvedic formulations, and Food Products.
The Company had in its list about 54 products/formulations approved by the FDA, Mumbai some of which have an excellent reputation in the domestic market. During 2013, the company was taken over by the present team of young entrepreneurs in Kerala who has various business interests in Health care and other segments.
The company registered as a recognized MSME Unit started in Kerala with the Directors having the ambition to become one of the leading players in the Ayurvedic medicine scenario. With this broad mission in mind, the teams have accumulated vast resources to develop the organization.
The present factory is conveniently located at Thiruvilwamala in God’s Own Country, Kerala. Thiruvilwamala is a pilgrimage place situated on the banks of river “Nila” in the lap of nature. Our New plant is equipped with the latest R & D facility, In house Lab, Quality Control, Ointment and Liquid Filling Departments and a ready to use area for immediate manufacturing of new formulations. Our state of the art facilities also help us to ensure that the utmost level of cleanliness is maintained during all our process.
